San Carlos

“The City of Good Living” as it’s known, is sure to bring about that exact feeling whether it is your first or one-hundredth visit to this charming town. Its top rated public schools and lovely downtown area make San Carlos an ideal place to settle down. There are enough shops, cafes and restaurants to keep anyone entertained. Once a year, in October, the town hosts the San Carlos Art and Wine Faire, where local merchants and artists will set up booths along the streets of the downtown area. San Carlos even has its own small craft airport, along with the Hiller Aviation Museum, where you can take flying lessons or check out generations of old planes.

You’ll find a wide array of homes ranging from quaint two bedrooms to large beautiful homes perched on the hillsides giving residents sweeping views of the bay. There are even some stunning luxury condos very near to downtown San Carlos. To top it all off, residents of San Carlos typically enjoy many more sunny days throughout the year than some of the cities further up the peninsula.
